High Quality Solar Panels

We have a large range of high-quality solar PV panels to meet your budget. We only stock reputable tier 1 brands with a focus on the newer monocrystalline solar panel products. Our fixed and portable solar panels have proven high efficiencies, excellent warranties and competitive pricing. All our panels have received Clean Energy Council approval and warranties range from 10 years to 25 years depending on the manufacturer.

Solar Inverters

Your solar inverter is a fundamental part of your solar system. It’s the technology that converts the DC power generated by your panels into AC power for your home or business. Investing in a good quality inverter will improve the efficiency and power generation capability of your solar. We only stock the best quality solar panels and inverters from tier 1 brands to give you peace of mind that your solar system will perform to your requirements.

Solar Panel Batteries

Our after-sales solar panel service & maintenance + performance monitoring keep your solar system performing at its best. For panels, we provide an industry-leading 48-hour panel fix or replace guarantee and a 72-hour panel fix or replace guarantee for properties greater than 100km from an MLEC office. Solar Panels FAQs

What is a tier 1 solar panel?

A tier 1 solar panel is one that has been independently verified by a reputable PV industry analyst. Solar panel companies that are given tier 1 status have typically been trading for a substantial amount of time and have significant sales volume, which means they have the sales and support staff available. At MLEC Solar, we only use tier 1 products based on suppliers that have the highest independent ratings for:
  1. Experience
  2. Financial position
  3. Manufacturing scale
  4. Deployment scale
  5. Durability and quality
  6. Technical performance
  7. Vertical integration
  8. Insurance and backing
  9. Service and support

What is the difference between monocrystalline and polycrystalline solar panels?

In Australian weather conditions, the answer to this question is that, besides the colour (black for mono vs blue for poly), there is no discernible difference between the two solar panel technologies - except the size of the panels. Mono panels generate more energy per panel than a poly panel of the same size. This means if you were to have, say, 300W mono panels vs 300W poly panels you would get the same performance out of your system – but the poly system will need more panels and more roof space. Poly cells are a bit cheaper as they have been around for longer, so they generally have a better return on investment. If you are going with a reputable solar panel manufacturer with long warranties, both types of panel will serve you well.
